Hurricane Erin High Wind Advisory
As Hurricane Erin passes off the coast this week, our area is expected to experience periods of elevated winds. All boat owners utilizing mooring fields in the Battleship Cove area, as well as dockage along the Taunton River, are strongly advised to inspect their vessels without delay.
Please ensure that mooring lines, dock lines, and fenders are secure and reinforced as necessary. Adding additional lines and double-checking hardware is recommended to prevent damage to vessels and surrounding property.
